KUWAIT CITY, Sep 2: A prank between two young men reportedly ended in serious injury after a 15-year-old boy was shot in the eye with a pellet gun in a desert area opposite Al-Mutlaa, according to a security source.

The boy’s father reported the incident to authorities, saying it occurred at dawn, and submitted a medical report confirming his son’s injury. According to the boy’s statement, he was riding a horse when a 27-year-old man allegedly pointed a pellet gun at him and asked, “Do you want me to shoot you?” The boy reportedly replied, “You wouldn’t do that,” before the man allegedly fired, striking him in the eye.

The Public Prosecution has ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to investigate the circumstances of the incident and determine what happened. Forensic medicine has also been tasked with examining the boy’s injuries, while a case has been registered pending completion of the investigation.
