Kader, Haroon bag Lower Intermediate title

KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Let’s Play – Kuwait Badminton Club held its First Shuttle Badminton Tournament which was a huge success. The individual events of the tournament in 3 categories were held at the indoor badminton court in Reggae for three nights. Around 55 people captivated the entire event.

The challenging elimination round took place during the first 2 nights (July 7 & 8), and quarter-finals, semifinals and mega finals took place on July 9.

Intermediate

Champions: Pranav & Carl

Runners-up: Mathew & Jojo

2nd Runners-up: Jojo & Asheer

Lower Intermediate

Champions: Abdul Kader & Haroon

Runners-up: Elson & Jojo

2nd Runners-up: Ajith & Tony

Beginners

Champions: Hameed & Vinod

Runners-up: Afsal & Sam

2nd Runners-up: Saji & Jose

Soon after the trilling matches, awarding ceremony and distribution of cash prizes and trophies took place for the winners by Lets Play Club Chairman Afsal, chief guest Dr Yasir, Club Committee members Ismail, Nabeel, Sadiq, Naji and Asheer. All matches were umpired by Salahudheen, Sebastian, Majeesh, Pramod and Muthu kumar. And Let’s Play – Kuwait Badminton Club is looking forward for the next upcoming event.
