Power Outage Hits Parts of Salwa After Substation Transformer Failure

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy said a transformer at the main Salwa (A) substation went out of service due to a technical malfunction, causing a power outage in limited areas of blocks 7 and 10 in Salwa. The ministry said emergency teams are at the site working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.
