Power Outage Hits Parts of Salmiya After Main Substation Failure

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has announced a power outage affecting parts of the Salmiya area after the Salmiya BX main substation went out of service.

The ministry said emergency teams have been dispatched to the site and are working to restore electricity as quickly as possible.

As per the latest information, the electricity supply has been partially restored to the Salmiya area, and efforts are ongoing to fully restore power
