KUWAIT CITY, July 19: The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that a technical malfunction caused two sub-feeders at the Hitteen (H) main substation to go out of service, resulting in a temporary power outage in parts of the Hitteen area.
The outage affected limited sections of Blocks 2 and 4, according to the ministry.
The ministry said its emergency response teams were immediately dispatched to the site and are working to restore electricity supply as quickly as possible. Authorities added that efforts are ongoing to repair the fault and return power to the affected areas at the earliest.
