KUWAIT CITY, May 18: Starting tomorrow, Sunday, police investigators across all governorates will adopt a new night shift system as directed by His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. This change aims to streamline procedures for both citizens and residents.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the new system mandates that investigators work until 10 pm daily. Additionally, selected police stations in each governorate will have investigators available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to ensure continuous support and immediate case handling.

The Ministry further announced that more duty stations will be added, aligning with the plan to enhance accessibility and efficiency in law enforcement services. This initiative reflects the ministry's ongoing commitment to improving public service and operational effectiveness.
