KUWAIT CITY, May 14: An Indian expatriate filed a case against unknown individuals who impersonated securitymen, barged into his apartment in Khaitan area, tied him up, robbed him of KD 300 and ran away. According to security sources, the victim filed a case at Khaitan Police Station against the unknown suspects, providing them with the vehicle registration number of the car using which the suspects had fl ed. Investigations have been launched to find and arrest the suspects.Kidnap bid foiled: A Syrian woman filed case against a Kuwaiti citizen, accusing him of robbing her of her two mobile phones and attempting to kidnap her. She informed securitymen that the suspect attempted to kidnap her in front of her house in Sabah Al-Salem area. When she resisted, he grabbed her mobile phones and escaped. Securitymen have launched investigations to find and arrest the suspect. 5 arrested for drugs: The Hawally police have arrested five young people – four men and a woman – for possessing and trafficking in drugs, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, the suspects were initially arrested because the man behind the wheel crossed the red traffic light.
