Police break up fights, nab scores

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: The General Directorate of Emergency Patrols continued its security campaigns in all governorates to apprehend lawbreakers and wanted individuals. During the period from December 28 to January 3, these campaigns led to the arrest of 21 people suspected of using narcotics and intoxicants. Those arrested were referred to the Drug Control General Department for necessary legal action. The Emergency Patrols also reported breaking up 10 fights, assisting 481 individuals, impounding 32 vehicles, apprehending 16 individuals for violating residency laws, and arresting 30 individuals wanted for absconding, outstanding warrants, or debts.
