His Highness the Prime Minister unveiled the commemorative monument, officially inaugurating the new phase in the presence of senior state officials. The ceremony commenced with the national anthem and Quranic recitation. Delivering an address on the occasion, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al- Sabah expressed deep gratitude to His Highness the Amir for his gracious patronage, emphasizing that the project reflects His Highness’s unwavering commitment to sustainable national development. Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali noted that Phase III represents a vital expansion of the landmark park, cementing its role as a vibrant hub for culture, recreation, and community engagement.
Attendees then viewed a documentary showcasing the cultural centers affiliated with the Amiri Diwan and their role in preserving national heritage and enriching Kuwait’s civilizational landscape. Addressing the gathering, Head of the Supervisory, Management, and Follow-up Committee Anwaar Al- Yatama stated that the inauguration of Phase III and its state-of-the-art Al- Soor Theater marks a new milestone in Kuwait’s civilizational journey, bridging heritage with future aspirations. She expressed gratitude to government entities, organizing teams, participating artists, and private sector partners, including National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), Kuwait Finance House (KFH), Alshaya Group, Ooredoo, and Best Al-Yousifi, for their support. The ceremony featured a grand national artistic performance titled “Al-Soor” (The Wall), executed by prominent local artists, which commemorated key historic milestones and depicted values of national cohesion, loyalty, and solidarity under the wise leadership. After receiving a commemorative gift, His Highness the Prime Minister toured the indoor and outdoor cultural, tourism, recreational, and logistical facilities of Phase III before departing the venue.
