PM discusses aviation upgrade with Airbus regional president

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al- Ahmad Al-Sabah received on Wednesday President of Airbus for Africa and the Middle East, Gabriel Semelas, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Kuwait and Airbus in the fields of aviation and air transport, and benefit from the company’s expertise and advanced capabilities in a manner that contributes to supporting the country’s plans to develop this vital sector and enhance its efficiency in line with the latest international standards. The meeting was attended by Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al- Ahmad Al-Sabah and Acting Chief of the Prime Minister’s Diwan Sheikh Khaled Mohammad Al- Khaled Al-Sabah (KUNA)
