Please Check Before You Buy: 98.7 kg of Unfit Food Destroyed in Farwaniya

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN), in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, conducted a joint inspection campaign in Farwaniya Governorate as part of ongoing efforts to protect consumer health and ensure food safety.

The campaign resulted in the issuance of 15 violation reports and three reports concerning damaged or unfit food products. A total of 98.732 kilograms of food products were destroyed, and legal action was taken against the violators.

The authorities stressed that inspection campaigns will continue to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and protect public health.
