Plan to shift private schools from housing areas in 3 yrs

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: The Municipal Council, during its meeting yesterday headed by Abdullah Al- Mahri, set a period of three years to evacuate and remove private schools in all private and model housing areas from the date of issuance of the decision. It also approved the allocation of plot 38 in the diplomatic zone in West Mishref Block 1 to the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC), and the use of the remaining area of 1,000 square meters for embassies and diplomatic bodies, provided that a contract is concluded with state properties and the Ministry of Finance.
