KUWAIT CITY, Aug 10: The Board of Directors of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has called for studying the possibility of stopping educational grant for children of non-Kuwaiti employees who will be appointed to work in the oil sector — the KPC and its affiliates — in future, reports Al- Anba daily quoting a high-ranking oil source. The source said the decision is in line with the direction of the KPC and its affiliates are taking to reduce employment of expatriates in the oil sector to the lowest level since the KPC grants in-kind benefits to workers in the sector, such as annual travel tickets for the employee and his family, health insurance, personal accidents, and educational assistance for 4 children and assigns a car and a petrol card to senior officials who work as consultants
