KUWAIT CITY, Oct 21: The Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) opened the bids for the tender for the study, design and construction supervision of the accommodations for nurses in various health districts. This is the confirmation of a report published by the newspaper on Oct 4, under the headline, “Ministry of Health begins studying the implementation of housing for nurses.”

The bid opening occurred during a meeting held two days ago that included four pre-qualified consulting firms. Recently, CAPT approved the technical evaluation results for this project. The bids will now be forwarded to the Ministry of Health, the entity responsible for preparing a technical recommendation within 30 days, in line with the Public Tenders Law. The project is in line with the commitment of the ministry to provide appropriate housing for nurses in the health districts in order to reduce the time, effort and expenses associated with renting accommodations for nurses, while recognizing their invaluable humanitarian contributions to patient care in all healthcare facilities.
