Pinoy Talent Quest 2022 gears for semi-finals; Grand finals set on Nov 25

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27: The Pinoy Arabia ME Talent Quest 2022, the biggest talent competition among Filipinos in Kuwait this year is now gearing for the semi-final round in November. Pinoy Arabia ME, the leading and the only duly licensed online Filipino radio station in Kuwait by the Ministry of Information, launched in August this year the “Pinoy Arabia ME Talent Quest 2022” to mark its 8th anniversary with the biggest Philippine talent search in Kuwait and the Middle East with a total of KD1,500 cash prizes await the winners.

More than a hundred equally talented individuals and groups went through the grueling audition for the past months. Among those who made it to the weekly elimination rounds in October at the Blue & Blue Café and Restaurant in Hawally were (first week) Jeffrey Rendon, Lorrie Ann Galang, Lutino Ronquillo, Shalom Battung, Margie Turtosa, JC Soriano, Roseann Lorenzo Dequit, Jerick Libantino Manson, Christine Argente, Czarina Hannah Castillo, Liza Costillas Leona, Arjay Tumang, Mark Anthony Balinas, Jahima Ajam, Luzviminda Cortez, Reinalynne Rullamas; (second week)Micco Salvatierra, Mary Ann Aca-ac, LQ8 Dancers: Noel Santor, Edison Navarro, Nino Navarro, Jimmy Ticzon Jr. , Allen Abegail Guzon, Orly Dionisio, Joseph Estandarte, John Paul Cora, Jonathan Gaurino, Dante Venus, Kristel San Diego, Joanna Marie Sibayan, Mirasol Mahilum, Thalia Paz, Ronalieh Beljera Abo, Hydin Ibanez, Roxanne Yniego, Acoustic Duo: Genesis Macasieb and Roy Erive, Arts & Rhythms Band: Aldrin Bartulin and Robert Degito.

Judges
The board of judges composed of Marlon Malinao, LeMogene Tucker and Frederick Acampado rated the talent questors based on the uniqueness of their talent, skills, performance, Xfactor and audience impact. The names of the talent questors who will compete in the semi-finals will be released on November 1, 2022. The competition sponsored by Ooredoo, Al Muzaini Exchange, Kaizen Extreme General Trading Company, Nail It, Dadabhai Travel, Season19 Restaurant & Café, Yaazeemir International Manpower Agency, Blue & Blue Café and Restaurant, Abrar Skin, Mados Salon, DropCart, Ombre Stylistics Salon, Sky Freight Cargo and Dukan is open to talented Filipino individual or group of 10 members maximum; anyone of Filipino descent; 18 years old and above; with valid residence in Kuwait; with good moral standing and no police record.

All talents are welcome (i.e. singing, dancing, arts, acting, etc.) except death-defying stunts, dangerous acts, obscene performance and acts that go against the culture, tradition and morals of Kuwait. Moreover, he or she should have not appeared or been a guest on other online radio shows in Kuwait or did not win a grand prize in any competition in Kuwait from January 2022 to date. The grand finals will be held on November 25, 2022 during the Pinoy Arabia ME Barrio Fiesta 2022 at the Ooredoo Car Park.

The grand prize winner will get KD1,000 cash prize while the first runner-up and second runner-up winners will receive KD300 and KD200 respectively and more valuable prizes will be given away.
