KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: Pinoy Arabia ME, the leading and the only duly licensed online Filipino radio station in Kuwait launched on Friday the “Pinoy Arabia ME Talent Quest 2022” to mark its 8th anniversary with the biggest Philippine talent search in Kuwait and the Middle East with a total of KD1,500 cash prizes await the winners.
The Pinoy Arabia ME Talent Quest 2022 aimed at discovering fresh talented Filipinos in Kuwait.
“One of the main thrusts of Pinoy Arabia is to provide a platform to discover and hone new talents, that’s why we are encouraging all Filipinos out there including those of Filipino descent to join the biggest talent competition. This is your time to shine,” stated Ben Garcia, Pinoy Arabia ME Station General Manager.
The first weekly audition kicked off on Friday at the Blue & Blue Café and Restaurant in Hawally with 11 participants taking up the challenge namely Arjay Tumang (Human Beat Box), Shalom Battung (singing), Kristel San Diego- singing, Roseann Lorenzo Dequit (singing),Victor Llaguno (painting), Christine Argente (singing), Alvin Bartulin (singing with guitar), Marissa Inso (singing), Kenneth Morales (singing), Maria Ana Sarmiento (singing) and Aubrey Joyce Nueva (singing).
The competition is open to talented Filipino individual or group of 10 members maximum; anyone of Filipino descent; 18 years old and above; with valid residence in Kuwait; with good moral standing and no police record. All talents are welcome (i.e. singing, dancing, arts, acting, etc.) except death-defying stunts, dangerous acts, obscene performance and acts that go against the culture, tradition and morals of Kuwait. Moreover, he or she should have not appeared or been a guest on other online radio shows in Kuwait or did not win a grand prize in any competition in Kuwait from January 2022 to date.
The weekly audition will be held every Friday this August. All those who will pass the audition will join in the weekly elimination round in September and all those who will survive the weekly elimination will be competing in the semi-finals in October. The grand finals will be in November at a venue to be announced later.
The grand prize winner will be getting KD1,000 cash prize while the first runner-up and second runner-up winners will be receiving KD300 and KD200 respectively and more valuable prizes.
