Philippines bans sending new domestic workers to Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 8: Philippines has suspended recruitment of domestic workers to Kuwait until further notice. This comes after the Philippine Minister of Migrant Labor, Susan Ople, announced the suspension of sending new domestic workers to Kuwait until major reforms are carried out. Bilateral talks with Kuwait are coming up to provide more guarantees to protect Overseas Filipino Workers
