KUWAIT CITY, Jun 3: The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait has urged all Filipino nationals in the country to remain calm and strictly follow safety guidelines issued by Kuwaiti authorities, including instructions from the Ministry of Interior and the General Department of Civil Defence.
In an advisory, the Embassy advised members of the Filipino community to stay at home or remain in secure locations, avoid unnecessary movement or travel, and ensure that mobile phones and communication devices are kept fully charged. It also cautioned against sharing unverified information, urging residents to rely only on official sources for accurate updates.
The Embassy said it is closely monitoring the situation and will issue further advisories as needed. It also provided emergency contact numbers for Filipinos requiring assistance, while reminding the public that emergency services in Kuwait can be reached via 112 for urgent police, medical, or related incidents.
