KUWAIT CITY, July 18: The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait has advised Filipino nationals to remain vigilant and maintain situational awareness amid ongoing developments, urging them to follow the guidance and instructions issued by Kuwaiti authorities.
In an advisory, the Embassy called on Filipinos in Kuwait to monitor official news sources and verified social media accounts to ensure they receive accurate and reliable information.
The Embassy issued several reminders, including minimizing non-essential travel and outdoor activities, and limiting movements to necessary trips only.
Filipinos were also advised to keep their mobile phones and communication devices fully charged and remain prepared to communicate at any time.
The Embassy cautioned the public against misinformation, reminding them not to believe, share, or spread fake news, misleading information, and unverified reports.
“The Embassy continues to monitor developments closely and will issue new advisories when there are important updates,” it said.
