WASHINGTON, Aug. 7: The Pentagon on Friday released its fifth batch of documents, photographs and videos related to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), commonly known as UFOs, as part of an ongoing public disclosure initiative.
The latest release includes 41 files from multiple U.S. government agencies, including the Pentagon, FBI, CIA, State Department and the Executive Office of the President. The records span more than 70 years, ranging from 1950 to 2026. The disclosure follows four earlier releases after President Donald Trump signed an executive order this year directing government agencies to make UFO-related records publicly available. The Pentagon said it is actively preparing the next release of UAP files.
