PCR test prices drops to KD 27

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 30: The Ministry of Health has approved an additional number of private laboratories to conduct a PCR test after fulfilling the technical specifications of the accreditation standards.

The Ministry of Health has set 40 dinars as the ceiling for the highest price for conducting the examination for detecting Corona virus and to prevent any manipulation or exploitation of the current circumstance.

Some accredited laboratories announced that due to legitimate competition prices which ranged between 30 and 35 dinars had reached 27 dinars for certain groups according to specific conditions.
