Pay Traffic Fines Before Court Referral, Kuwait Traffic Directorate Urges

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: Kuwait’s Traffic Directorate has urged motorists with outstanding traffic violations to settle their fines promptly before their cases are referred to the Traffic Court. The Directorate advised violators to take the initiative and pay the settlement order without delay, warning that once a violation is referred to court, it may result in penalties prescribed by law, including financial fines or imprisonment, as well as other administrative measures depending on the nature of the violation and applicable laws and regulations. The Directorate called on motorists to avoid delays and settle their traffic violations at the earliest opportunity.
