Work being done online after corona crisis

KUWAIT CITY, June 13: The head of the Passport Division in the Ahmadi Health District, Majed Al-Azmi, revealed about 4,560 transactions were completed by the Passport Department in 2021 and the first five months of this year – 2,693 transactions during 2021 and 1,867 transactions during the first five months of 2022, reports Al- Jarida daily. Al-Azmi told the daily transactions comprised renewal of work permits, transfer of information from an old passport to a new passport, updating data, amending the date of birth, amending a Latin name and amending a job title.

The daily added, last January witnessed the completion of 318 transactions, while 316 transactions were completed in February, 506 transactions in March and 391 in April and 338 transactions last May. He stated that before the “Corona” pandemic, the transactions were complete manually and after the pandemic, the work is completed online. Al-Azmi thanked the Director of Al- Ahmadi Health District, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shatti and the controller of financial, administrative and services affairs in the region, Abdullah Melhem Al-Ajmi for overcoming all obstacles facing the work. He also thanked the Director of the Health Insurance Department, Dr. Ahmed Al-Husseini, and Director of the Residence Affairs Department in Ahmadi Governorate, Colonel Mazyad Al-Mutairi, for helping complete the transactions in record time.
