Partial Closure on Fifth Ring Road Toward Salmiya

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: Kuwait Ministry of Public Works, in coordination with the Kuwait General Traffic Department, has announced a temporary partial closure on the Fifth Ring Road toward Salmiya.

The closure will affect three left lanes opposite the Al-Salam area, while three lanes will remain open for traffic toward King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz Road (Route 40).

Authorities said the closure will begin at dawn on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, and continue until May 17, 2026, to allow asphalt maintenance and roadwork in the affected section.

Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes and exercise caution while passing through the area during the maintenance period.
