KUWAIT CITY, Jun 30: The Births and Deaths office in Maidan Hawally, Al Sabah and Al Jahra witnessed a large crowd of parents who had come to obtain birth certificates for children born during the lock down period.
The corridors of the main building sections in the Al Sabah and Jahra witnessed a large number of parents had come to obtain birth certificate where as some had come to register the name of their new born.
It is necessary to obtain a birth or death certificate hence the employees sorted out the visitors between the requests of the birth certificate and the other section of the death certificates.
A number of Kuwaiti citizens expressed their desire to complete their procedures of issuing the birth certificate as it is a requirement to issue a nationality certificate to obtain child allowance and other benefits. During this four months shut down period the parents have missed out on 50 dinar allowance per month, for which you need child’s Civil ID and to obtain one you need birth certificate to be issued.
