KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Human Resources and Information Technology Sector in cooperation with the General Directorate of Nationality and Passports, has launched a new digital service designed to simplify procedures for parents.

The initiative allows parents to obtain a “certified true copy” of their children’s passports for minors under the age of 16. This certified copy serves as an official document that can be presented to government or official entities when required, eliminating the need to submit the original passport in many cases.

According to the Ministry, the service aims to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and convenience by leveraging modern digital technologies. It reflects the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to expand electronic services, reduce paperwork, and improve the overall experience for citizens and residents alike.

By enabling quick and reliable access to official passport data, the new system reinforces the Ministry’s commitment to digital transformation and public service modernization in Kuwait.
