KUWAIT CITY, May 18: The Board of Directors of the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) approved, by a two-thirds majority during its meeting last Monday, the request of the Central Agency for Information Technology to directly contract with a global telecommunications company for the “Paperless Government” project. The company is the authorized distributor for the services included in the framework agreement (AFA) (Google Cloud) for a period of three years, valued at $32,423,594.
The project reflects the government’s commitment to improving service delivery by utilizing the latest communications and information technology. It contributes to one of the important programs in the development plan - building an interconnected and transparent government. The project aims to digitize all government transactions and eliminate paper-based processes, thereby enhancing the efficiency of public services through an advanced, secure, and scalable digital infrastructure
