KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: The Public Authority for Minors Affairs (PAMA) participated in the recently concluded ‘Max Tech’ Exhibition, which witnessed the participation of a large number of government and private agencies to showcase their experience in the field of digital transformation, reports Al-Anba daily. In a press statement, PAMA Director Eng Hamad Al-Barjas affirmed that the authority will fully benefit from its participation in the exhibition; considering its commitment to introduce its plans, programs and projects in the field of digital transformation and follow up the latest developments in the fields of security, information exchange, and information and communications technology. He confirmed that the authority reviewed all aspects of its plan for digital transformation, which includes the electronic services provided through its website — a total of 50 services, as well as the Sahl application — 36 services.

He said the authority is considered one of the first entities to participate in the initial launch of the application, indicating the plan includes the use of an interconnected system for electronic correspondence between all departments for speedy completion. He added paper and manual transactions were eliminated 100 percent, coupled with linking government agencies’ correspondence through the G2G system to preserve the integrity and security of data. He revealed the authority has developed a special application to record the attendance of its employees since the beginning of the Corona pandemic for security and safety reasons, as every employee can download the application on his device and register his attendance through it. He confirmed the authority’s success in activating electronic connectivity with 10 government agencies, several companies and banks to facilitate the services provided to those under its care. He stated that the authority is working with the National Cybersecurity Executive in terms of taking precautionary measures.
