PAM monitors the launch of new online worker request system
Public Authority for Manpower follows up on the electronic worker needs platform implementation.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 15: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) is closely monitoring the first stage of a new online system, known as the Needs Assessment System. This system enables companies to request the number of workers they need through the “Ashal” platform, officials said on Monday.

PAM convened a coordination meeting involving representatives from the Need Assessment Department and the Information Systems Department to review the progress and mechanisms of the system’s deployment.

According to a press statement, the electronic needs assessment enables employers to accurately, safely, and smoothly submit their required workforce numbers online. The Need Assessment Department officials then review applications to verify submitted data and attachments before being forwarded to inspection teams to finalize the procedures.

Rabab Al-Osaimi, Acting Director General of PAM, emphasized the importance of ensuring the system’s smooth operation and timely completion of transactions. She highlighted that a key condition for using the service is having employees’ salaries on file, which guarantees the seriousness of applications and fairness in the assessment process.
