Discussions during the meeting focused on implementing the new law on foreign residents and developing work systems and procedures to ensure institutional integration and meet the requirements of the next phase, in line with Amiri Decree No. 114/2024 concerning the Law on the Residence of Foreigners and its executive regulations. Eng. Al-Osaimi emphasized that this coordination with the Ministry of Interior reflects the political leadership’s vision for Kuwait’s future, aiming to establish an organized and flexible labor market closely linked to modern residency legislation, integrating economic, regulatory, and security aspects to serve the public interest and support sustainable development.
