PAM holds workshop for job seekers in private sector

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6 : The Public Authority for Manpower organized on Tuesday a workshop entitled “Towards a Distinguished Future Career” for job seekers in the private sector, hosted by the Gulf University for Science and Technology.

The authority said in a press statement that the workshop targets fresh graduates and those on the verge of employment with the aim of supporting and qualifying Kuwaiti youth and enabling their participation in the labor market, in addition to directing national labor to work in the private sector and reducing the unemployment rate in line with its strategic plan.

PAM explained that one of the priorities of the workshop is to educate the target segment on the importance of working in the private sector and to highlight the advantages it provides, especially by guiding them professionally and enabling their access to this sector in a manner commensurate with their specialties and skills.

The authority indicated that the workshop witnessed an explanation of the private sector and its advantages, and the applicants were instructed on how to prepare for the job interview and know the most important secrets to pass it successfully, in addition to how to prepare a resume and how to deal with the work environment in order to achieve job success.
