PAM, delivery firms hold talks on labor complaints and workforce rules
The Public Authority of Manpower meets with delivery company owners to streamline SME operations.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: The Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) reaffirmed its drive to enhance cooperation with key productive sectors, as Acting Director General Eng. Rabab Al-Osaimi met on Thursday with a delegation from the Committee of Delivery Company Owners, representing small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The delegation was led by Abdulaziz Faleh and included several committee members.

PAM said in a statement that the meeting focused on proposals and recommendations to improve work mechanisms and regulate the delivery sector within the SME ecosystem. Discussions covered issues related to labor complaints, workforce assessment procedures, and the committee’s request to reconsider the timeframe currently applied for transferring workers under existing regulations.

The committee also proposed establishing a direct communication channel with PAM specialists to facilitate faster and more efficient follow-up on technical and administrative developments.

At the close of the meeting, the delegation expressed appreciation for PAM’s positive engagement and responsiveness to the concerns and observations raised. They praised the Authority’s efforts to ease procedures and support national projects, noting that these initiatives contribute to advancing Kuwait’s broader economic development objectives.

The meeting was attended by Nasser Al-Humaidi, Deputy Director General for Labor Affairs, and Fahad Al-Murad, Director of the Labor Inspection Department.
