PAM declares additional support for 6 months

KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Director General of the Public Authority for Manpower Ahmed Al-Mousa announced the transfer of additional support for the Fifth Chapter for six months at one time.

He indicated that the money will be deposited in the accounts of employers registered in this section next Thursday, reports Al-Seyassah daily. He added this comes within the economic package approved by the government to face the economic effects resulting from the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, and according to the directives issued by the Minister of Social Affairs and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Maryam Al-Aqeel, in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 654 of 2020.

Al-Mousa called on the owners of establishments wishing to pay the additional support for their employees to register in the official website of the authority and submit the request for payment through the automated system.

For its part, informed sources said that the support includes about 13,037 thousand citizens and the total value of the support is estimated at 58.3 million dinars.
