Palestine and Bangladesh prepare for crucial clash in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, March 20: The clash between Palestine and Bangladesh is set to take place at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium for the third round of the ninth group matches in the Asian qualifiers for both the 2027 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup at 9:30 pm. Simultaneously, Australia and Lebanon will also square off in the same group.

Currently, Australia leads the group with 6 points, followed by Lebanon with 2 points, while Palestine and Bangladesh each have one point. The Palestinians conducted their preparations at Al-Qadisiya Club’s Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium, while the Bangladesh national team trained at Al-Sahel Stadium.

It’s worth noting that under the guidance of Tunisian coach Makram Daboub, the Palestinian team showcased an admirable performance in their previous appearance at the Asian Nations Cup. They advanced beyond the initial round only to face a challenging defeat against the defending champions and hosts, the Qatari team, in the round of 16.
