Pakistanis held for stealing sand from Al-Mutla’a residential projects area

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 10: Police have arrested a Pakistani and his companion for stealing sand from Al-Mutla’a residential projects area.

A security source said the arrest came when the head of the Jahra Municipality Department of Demolishing Encroachments on government land filed a complaint with the area police station after he saw two men loading sand in a truck.

The source said securitymen rushed to the spot and seized the truck driver – believed to be a Pakistani living in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh – and another person who works for a trading and contracting company and lives in the company headquarters in Al-Mutla’a. A case has been registered.
