A customs employee cutting the tyre to retrieve the drug pills

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: The Kuwaiti customs inspectors arrested an unidentified Pakistani for attempting to smuggle into the country 85,000 Captagon pills and about 800 grams of shabu drug by hiding them inside the spare tyre of a truck, reports Al-Anba daily. He was coming from Iraq and was caught at the Abdali border point.

Meanwhile, acting on information that crude looking object was seen near the Fatouh Mosque in Al-Subbiya, personnel from the Explosives Control Department rushed to the area and the object turned out to be a harmless empty shell, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source said the shell was lifted which is believed to one of the leftovers from the time of the Iraqi invasion of the country
