Pakistani swindles four Kuwaitis in business offer for KD 140,000

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 28: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested a Pakistani for swindling four Kuwaitis by convincing them he has business contracts with the American forces in Kuwait and asked them to invest in his business, reports Al-Anba daily. The complaints filed by the four men with the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station said the suspect had disappeared with KD 140,000. The suspect was picked up from a house in Mahboula. During interrogation he admitted to receiving the money and pledged to return in installments. The victims are said to have refused the offer and are demanding all money in cash in full. The daily gave no other details.
