KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: Pakistani air conditioning technician died on the spot after a gas cylinder exploded while he was working on a A/C unit inside his workshop, reports Al-Rai daily. The incident happened in the Fahaheel Industrial Area. The corpse of the victim has been referred to Forensics. The explosion reportedly damaged the entire shop and also the adjoining shops.58 bikes, buggies impoundedThe General Traffic Department (GTD) in the Ministry of Interior conducted traffic campaigns from Nov 9-18, 2016 within the framework of closely monitoring traffic situation and recording violations, particularly the use of motorbikes and buggies on streets and highways.In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media General Department disclosed these campaigns led to the registration of 211 violations. The department then enumerated the violations as follows: one motor bike that crossed the red light, 89 for driving without a license, 27 for public disturbance (noisemaking), nine for driving without registration book, 11 for driving without plate numbers, nine for driving without insurance, and seven for performing car stunts on the roads. This is in addition to impounding of 58 buggies.
