RIYADH, April 11: The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defense announced the arrival of a military contingent from Pakistan at King Abdulaziz Air Base, as part of the Joint Strategic Defense Agreement between the two nations.
According to the ministry, the deployment includes fighter jets and support aircraft from the Pakistani Air Force, aimed at strengthening joint military coordination and enhancing operational readiness between the armed forces of both countries.
Officials said the move reflects deepening defense cooperation and is intended to bolster regional security and stability, particularly amid heightened tensions across the Middle East.
The Saudi defense authorities emphasized that the joint deployment will also support training, coordination, and preparedness efforts, reinforcing strategic ties between Riyadh and Islamabad.
