KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: A criminal court has sentenced a Pakistani man to death after convicting him of fatally stabbing his father during a domestic dispute in Farwaniya Governorate.
According to case details, the incident occurred following a heated argument between the father and his 28-year-old son after the father discovered him smoking cigarettes. The father reportedly reprimanded his son and tore up the cigarette pack, prompting the son to grab a pair of scissors and stab him multiple times in the chest.
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities arrested the suspect shortly after the incident, and he was referred to the criminal court, which issued the capital punishment verdict.
