KUWAIT CITY, July 16: Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem visited the injured Pakistani technician at Jahra Hospital to personally look into his health condition. The technician, who is under a ministry contract, was injured while repairing an overhead power transmission line. Director of Jahra Hospital Dr. Ahmed Khaja, warmly welcomed the minister, confirming that the condition of the injured technician is stable and he is receiving the necessary medical care.
Al-Mukhaizeem asserted that ensuring the safety of all workers is the top priority of the ministry, and it is keen on providing a safe working environment and adhering to the highest safety standards. He commended the efforts of the emergency teams, technical and engineering staff and all concerned workers for repairing the damage and rehabilitating the electrical grid facilities, thereby guaranteeing the continuity and stability of the electrical system. He urged everyone to fully abide by the safety and prevention procedures.
In addition, Undersecretary of the ministry Dr. Adel Al-Zamel also visited the injured technician. He was accompanied by Director of the Overhead Lines and Underground Cables Maintenance Department Eng. Athari Al-Mohammad and several other ministry engineers. He reviewed the medical care provided to the injured man and the medical team briefed him on the condition of the injured, confirming that he is stable. Al-Zamel expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Health, specifically the Jahra Hospital administration and its medical and nursing staff, for their swift response and the high quality of medical care provided to the injured man. He then wished the injured speedy recovery and immediate return to work.
