Pakistani actor sentenced for 2 yrs imprisonment followed by deportation

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 16: The criminal court convicted Pakistani actor accused of exposing his private parts on social media. He was sentenced to 2 yrs imprisonment with labor and fined 1000 dinars followed by deportation from Kuwait after completing the sentence.

The actor had denied during the prosecution’s investigation the accusations against him, claiming that a “hacker” had stolen his Snapchat account and broadcast the offensive clip.

The Cybercrime Department has arrested the accused and interrogated him on charges of insulting public decency, committing an indecent act and misusing the phone.
