Pakistan Strongly Condemns Attacks on UAE, Reaffirms Solidarity

ISLAMABAD, May 5: Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent missile and drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), expressing firm support for the Gulf nation amid rising regional tensions.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated on X, extending full solidarity with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Emirati people. He said Pakistan stands “firmly with our Emirati brothers and sisters as well as with the Government of the United Arab Emirates at this difficult time.”

Sharif stressed the importance of maintaining the ceasefire, urging all parties to create space for diplomatic engagement. He called for renewed dialogue to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region, amid escalating concerns over the security situation in the Gulf.

Pakistan’s statement adds to growing international reactions condemning the attacks and calling for de-escalation and adherence to international law.
