Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Kuwait Dr. Zafar Iqbal
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the State of Kuwait Dr. Zafar Iqbal congratulated the political leadership, the wise government and the Kuwaiti people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day. In a press statement on Monday, Iqbal pointed out that these historic occasions exemplify the courage, dignity and resilience of the Kuwaiti people. He said Kuwait witnessed a remarkable transformation into a modern and dynamic State, adding that this transformation is a strong testament to the wise leadership and national unity. He added that Kuwait, under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al- Jaber Al-Sabah, remains a model of stability, generosity and balanced progress in the region.
He stated that the visionary leadership and the persevering spirit of the people of Kuwait are the true foundations of its success. He affirmed that Pakistan values its fraternal relations with Kuwait, rooted in shared faith, mutual trust and unwavering goodwill. He said the Pakistani community in Kuwait made a valuable contribution to the development in various sectors through their competence, integrity and dedication, forming a vital bridge between the two countries.
He indicated that his country views Kuwait as a valuable economic partner, welcoming enhanced cooperation in investment, trade, energy, infrastructure, food security and emerging sectors, in line with the development vision of Kuwait. He emphasized the significant untapped potential and commitment of Pakistan to generate more opportunities for mutually beneficial economic cooperation. He added that Pakistani-Kuwaiti relations will continue to grow in the coming years, praying to Almighty Allah to grant His Highness the Amir continuous good health and a long life, and to bestow upon the State of Kuwait and its brotherly people the blessings of prosperity, progress and stability.
