ISLAMABAD, Feb 11, (Xinhua): The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) successfully conducted the "Golden Eagle" training exercise to enhance the country's combat potential, the military said on Tuesday.
"The exercise was focused on artificial intelligence-enabled, network-centric operations, while integrating indigenous niche, disruptive and smart technologies in line with evolving regional security dynamics," according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army.
A key highlight of the exercise was manned-unmanned teaming, with deep-reach drones and loitering munitions operating in a highly contested, congested and degraded environment, validating the PAF's capability to conduct high-tempo operations in modern warfare, said the ISPR.
The successful conduct of the exercise reaffirms the country's unwavering commitment to maintaining a high state of operational preparedness, leveraging indigenous innovation and effectively countering emerging and future security challenges, it added.
