KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: The Public Authority for Housing Welfare declared that it has officially received 113 public buildings in Al-Mutla’a residential city, having completed construction in adherence to the highest standards. These buildings are now poised for handover to pertinent government agencies, synchronizing with citizen housing initiatives and the finalization of plot constructions.
In a press statement, PAHW affirmed its collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity and Water, successfully delivering electricity to 102 buildings, with 28 already operational. The statement refuted circulating misinformation on social media and news platforms regarding the completion of public buildings in Al-Mutla’a by 2040, clarifying that such claims are inaccurate fragments of the truth. The authority emphasized its commitment to ongoing city development in alignment with meticulously planned schedules.
Highlighting the availability of essential service buildings in various residential suburbs, the corporation assured citizens of no shortages. It pledged to expand public facilities, including schools, in response to population growth, a strategy consistent with its history of providing necessary amenities even after citizens settle.
The corporation underscored its dedication to advancing projects in additional service, investment, educational, and health sectors. Operational public buildings in Al-Mutla’a include 20 school buildings, 26 mosques, 3 health and specialized centers, a fire station, two municipal centers, and two buildings each for post offices, police stations, municipalities, social units, citizen services, and central markets.
Ongoing efforts involve implementing 27 buildings in recently proposed projects, encompassing health centers, ambulance services, central markets, police stations, citizen service centers, commercial stores, municipality buildings, social units, development centers, postal buildings, Ministry of Commerce structures, and gas branches, along with a telephone exchange. The corporation emphasized its commitment to citizen housing welfare, prioritizing the swift completion of public building contracts for prompt operation upon citizen plot completion.
