PACI statistics: “Mohammad” and “Fatmah” most common

KUWAIT CITY, April 30 : According to statistics issued by Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), the names “Mohammad” and “Fatmah” are the most common male and female names respectively in Kuwait.

The top ten popular male names in Kuwait are Abdullah, Abdulrahman, Khalid, Ali, Abdulaziz, Fahad, Yousef, Ahmad and Nasser.

The top ten popular female names are Mariam, Sara, Nora, Munira, Shaikha, Dalal, Aisha, Reem and Dana. Also, women in Kuwait beat men when it comes to longevity.

Meanwhile, highest number of expatriates is of Indian nationality, followed by Egyptian, Bangladeshi, Philippine, Syrian, Saudi, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Jordanian and Nepalese.
