PACI Gives 287 Expats 30 Days to Register New Addresses or Face KD 100 Fine

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced in the Sunday edition of the official gazette, Kuwait Al-Youm, the cancellation of the residential addresses of 287 individuals based on the declaration of the homeowners or due to the demolition of the building. These individuals must visit PACI to register their new address or do so through the Sahel application after providing the required supporting documents within 30 days of this announcement. According to Article 33 of Law No. 32/1982, a fine not exceeding KD100 will be imposed on each person. Moreover, PACI launched the ‘Removal of Address’ service on the Sahel application to allow property or real estate owners to submit an address removal request online. It added that applicants can attach the required documents, submit the request and then track its status through Sahel.
