KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced in the official gazette, ‘Kuwait Al-Youm’, the start of the prequalification of companies interested in offering civil identification card delivery services. PACI revealed that contracts will be awarded to companies that meet the pre-qualification criteria stated in the official announcement. This is in line with the efforts of PACI to simplify procedures and enhance service accessibility, without the need to visit its headquarters in South Surra or its service centers in different areas. In another announcement, PACI confirmed the removal of 485 residential addresses from its records based on notifications from property owners or due to the demolition of buildings.

The affected individuals must visit the authority or use the ‘Sahel’ application to register their new address and submit the supporting documents within 30 days of the date of the announcement. Failure to do so will result in penalties stipulated in Article 33 of Law No. 32/1982, which include a fine of KD100 per individual.
