Public Authority for Applied Education and Training celebrates with the championship trophy.

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 22: The team representing the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training emerged victorious in the Warba Bank 3x3 Basketball League, a part of the third sports games for higher education organized by the Kuwait Sports Federation for Schools and Higher Education. In the final match held at Marina Mall Stadium, they secured a 19-11 win over Kuwait Technical College. The American University team secured the third position by defeating the Australian University with a score of 17-9. The competition featured the active participation of six government and private educational institutions.

The awards ceremony, attended by Faisal Al-Maqseed, President of the School Union, Ahmed Al-Qatami, Head of the Retail Banking Group at Warba Bank, and Walid Ayesh, Vice-President of the School Union, marked the culmination of the event. Al-Maqseed, who also serves as the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Third Sports Games for Higher Education, commended the significant role played by the organizing committees and the dedicated efforts of Warba Bank, the strategic partner in the event. Expressing his satisfaction with the inaugural edition of the Warba Bank 3x3 Basketball League, he highlighted the remarkable success achieved, prompting plans to expand the participation of teams in subsequent editions due to the outstanding performance exhibited by the players and the overall excellent organization throughout the tournament days.
